Howard House is a beautiful, 3 BR, 2 BA lakefront cottage, approximately 1600 sq. ft. . The large living area has two sleeper-sofas, big screen color TV with cable and DVD/VCR, and a wood-burning fireplace. There is a fully-equipped kitchen....you need only bring the eats! This house will sleep 8 - 10 comfortably.The master bedroom has a queen size bed w/private bath. Two other bedrooms have two single beds in each w/room for sleeping bags. Beautiful view of lake from huge front porch. Huge yard for yard games.  May fish from the private pier or take off on an adventure in your own boat from the private boat launch on the property. Gas grill and gas provided; charcoal grill available, but you must provide your own charcoal.  Swim at your own risk.  Great fishing for catfish, stripers, and sand bass.  Private boat launch and easy tie up to pier. Nearby attractions include: Canton's First Monday, just 20 miles away;  SplashKingdom, a waterpark/recreational area is also within 20 minutes.  Tanger Outlet Mall is in Terrell about 23 miles away;  antique shopping at Wills Point, Canton, Greenville and nearby Forney. Lake Tawakoni State Park within one mile:  safe, clean and protected swimming with beach; hiking and biking trails; free fishing. Pass provided. Private Boat Launch Directions to The LakePlace Howard House - 2 night minimum stay.  $125 per night for 2 people,  + $10 each additional person per night (children under 5 are free). $200 deposit required to secure reservation.  Cancellations refundable with a 2 week notice and the house is rented. $50 cleaning fee may apply for excess garbage and linen use as well as overall condition of property when leaving.  CHECK IN TIME IS 2 P.M. DIRECTIONS:  From Dallas, take I20 east.  Past Terrell, take the FM 47, Lake Tawakoni Exit...go north through Wills Point.  The road jogs a little but stay right on FM 47 ...go 6 miles north of Wills Point.  Turn left on FM 2475  (sign will say Lake Tawakoni State Park).  Go 3 miles; turn right on VZCR 3829.  This road winds past the Tanglewood Marina and a church.  Right past the church, turn right on VZCR 3711. ..this deadends into The LakePlace...turn left on VZCR 3712...Howard House is the second driveway on the right.  There will be a yellow and red sign that says "Howard House at The LakePlace."  (From I30 in Greenville, go south on FM 34 to Quinlan.  Turn left on FM 276, then right on FM 751.  Turn left on VZCR 3837, go a short distance, then turn left and then right on VZCR 3810.  Follow through (you will cross FM 2475 Tawakoni State Park Road)to VZCR 3829 - turn left (there is an old grocery store here).  Go past Tanglewood Marina and Chapel of the Lake church....turn right on VZCR 3711..this deadends into The LakePlace. Turn left on VZCR 3712...you will see the yellow and red sign for "Howard House at The LakePlace."   Hosts are David and Gail Howard, 110 VZCR 3712, Wills Point, Texas 75169     To make reservations, contact gdhoward@peoplepc.com or ...
